Mine did that before I just powered the Switch off and when it came back on the WiFi worked fine. I thought it was my router at 1st but literally everything else I had was working fine.

I powered it off and on, didn't help. Undocked it, didn't help. Finally I undocked it and sat literally 3 feet from my router....now it works. :gucci:

Well...

My Switch just fell today. Off a dresser onto hardwood floor. knew I shouldn't have left it at home while I was at work. there's a chip on the top where the power button is on the back plate side. but that was randomly there from time I never paid it mind, but the chip piece fell out due to the drop. it's tiny, but now i hate looking at it. :snoop: even those it still looks unharmed, I'm so fukking paranoid now. Like will this drop have lasting effects on anything from inside switch. I'm currently checking if the fan is busted, but I hear it blowing.

My day is ruined. :mjcry:
at least it still works

scratches and chips are like stretchmarks on chicks, adds character.

the thing is, I don't know how it fell. There's no actual damage on the outer. That chip, I don't know how it got there. The fall just pushed the tiny little piece out. I'm hoping when it fell, the joycon took most of the impact.

My only concern is the inside of the switch. I hope no lasting effects take place. Like I hope its lifespan didn't take a hit. I'm paranoid like that. I want a second switch, but that won't be happening anytime soon.

Happy to hear Bandai has games being worked on for 2018.

:mjlol: thanks. I feel like I needed that.
Nintendo makes very durable products breh. I remember my boys lil brother had a game for n64, long story short his lil brother got the game Winback for his birthday and they only had one n64 and my boy wanted to play mk4. So he snatched the game out of the n64 took it outside and tossed it up in the air and said "get that outta here!" And he hit it with a bat into the backyard.

We were laughing like crazy, my boys lil brother was laughing and about to cry be cause it was his birthday game but it was funny. He put it back in and it worked!

We learned a lesson about durability that day.

Just copped a "dock cozy" (zelda edition)....makes the switch sit much more snugly into the dock, and of course prevents those scratches. Def recommend one. Looks dope too. Only 12 bucks off etsy.
