It will probably never happen but if Nintendo stopped making hardware and focused on releasing their games for Playstation, Xbox, and PC, I wouldn't be against it. Their hardware is always the weakest, they are still behind with their online platform, and have little 3rd party support compared to the competition. People only check for their first party titles.
All 1st party studios should be making 3rd party games.

Nintendo on both Sony and Microsoft consoles
N Gage games on PSP
Gizmodo games on 3DS
PC games on Game Boy Advance
