Just saw this on Gizmodo. Definitely a great way to expose my kids to my era of gaming.

One of the posters there had a great idea:

My dream version of this would connect to the virtual console store. And it would allow me to download/play all retro console games (SNES, Genesis, etc.). Since I could theoretically plug in their existing classic gamepad (for the Wii), playing other console games shouldn’t be an issue. And I’d really love to see Amiibo support. I could put my Mario Amiibo on the console and get bonus levels, or a re-skinned Super Mario theme, etc.

So I'm guessing Nintendo is cutting the Virtual Console from the NX and selling it as a separate product. Next will be the SNES mini, then N64 mini etc.

Hmmmm...they should have included a lot more games. Emus and roms have been ready available for more than 10 years now.
