This is about the time of the season where he upps his performance.
He's still not looking very athletic (as if he ever did), just more in rhythm than he has been this season. That one cut where he blows by Adams and dunks it took me by surprise though.

OKC had won 3 of their last 4 (with the only loss by 1) and 5 of their last 7. Portland had won 5 of their last 8 (losses to Lakers and Clippers) since Dame is back and Carmelo is contributing. Neither of those teams is "reeling".
The OKC game was just a 5-point lead with 6:30 left until Jokic went off and scored 9 of the last 11 to push the lead to 12 with 3:30 left. He didn't score again.The Portland game was 11-12 for the final 5 minutes and all the starters played to the final buzzer. He wasn't "stat-padding in blowouts" in either one. The other three games were a road loss to Boston by 13, a road loss to the Nets by 3, and a road loss to Philly by 5 (with Murray, their leading scorer, going out 5 minutes into the game).
