Yea but you can understand why he is viewed as a heel this time. He knew he ain’t want that life so why string her along? Of course he may have thought he would change but that’s still a big risk to string her along if in your heart you don’t want a family. I think a combination of the show, the possibility he might change, and the fact that they traveled together, worked together and Basically rolled in the same circle made him stay around longer than he would have before.
