What's up with Marvel and them not being able to keep directors or actors around for long? You think with all the money they're making they would pay them what they're worth or give them full creative control

They're like the Bond franchise in the sense that they're very producer driven and not every director can work under that circumstance. Sometimes full creative control for a director is a bad thing sometimes it's not but essentially these movies are serialized television with Feige as the showrunner and if you aren't down with his vision then you hit the bricks.

Thanks, guess we'll see if the CC style works for WB even though they did bounce MacLaren they seem to give their directors full control

Trolling or not, this PC era we suddenly live in makes me cringe. Twitter is one of the greatest inventions of all time, but good lord did it turn the world into some PC bullshyt.

I've read Joss Whedon's comments about the trolls not being the reason he quit twitter, and he just comes off like the whiny bytch he might really be since every interview he's being a whiny bytch. This man is always whining about something, and it's never his fault, it's always the "someone did this", "someone did that", "I had things going, they fukked it up", "I'm always right" narrative with him. I don't think there's a single project he's ever worked on that he didn't end up bytching about. Ol' "I'll admit I'm the guy that wrote Storm's line about what happens when a toad gets struck by lightning in the first X-Men movie, but there was nothing wrong with the line as I wrote it, they just executed it poorly" ass motherfukker.

And that's something he has actually said, for the record.

He does do that a lot. Nothing is ever his fault. Ever.
