There are things in the movie that marvel diehards disagree with especially since Whedon has made it no secret that he didn't really get along with marvel during the making of the movie and that they showed a bit too much of an iron fist. Yeah i guess those suits at marvel really pissed him off... It's always the suits and studio interference.... just let this nikka cook, But i giuess he'd rather just take his check and run then to deal with their bullshyt... that's a high probability of why the movie felt so uneven because he trimmed ALOT of it out. the original run time was supposed to be 3 hrs...

I think it's a combo of that and just him wanting to do his own thing. He's been in that world for so long and hasn't been able to do something that he truly wants to do and create; that can be a lot for a creative person, feeling like you're constricted and at times you need to just say fukk it and be out and I think it's time. I think he's said all he has to say when it comes these flicks and it's good to let someone else takeover. Just reading how he felt about having to cut Thor's scenes and the drama that went into that, he needs to move on

Well on the real, the thing that struck me as weird in the movie is why black widow is kidnapped. Aside from the fact that it comes out of nowhere, it really doesn't have to happen and ultimately goes nowhere Ultron kidnaps her only to..talk to her? Then lock her up and leaves her unattended only for her to signal the avengers
