Nightly Show With Larry Wilmore Cancelled at Comedy Central

Why there was a host before Jon Stewart, I used to watch it when it was Kilborne was doing it. sucked then got popular, and now its not popular.

Lets be honest...Wilmore nor Noah has shown no glimpses of brilliance there. I wouldn't invest in them.

Chris Rock was perfect for the show...and he turned it down.

Noah doesn't know enough about American shyt (and isn't funny), and Wilmore sucks as a comedian (good writer though).

The ratings aren't the point. The late show will always get ratings as long as it's got a pulse.

Colbert just isn't funny on the show. All his edge and bite is gone. He's just safe and homogenized now.

And he's done poorly in social media,viral videos etc. And that is very seriously something that matters in 2016 even and especially to execs.

You must not understand the CBS late night spot...its not meant to be the same as what he did with colbert.

Colbert will retire at that job. Bet that.

Either that or you didn't understand what Letterman's appeal was.

That older, smarter, centrist audience. Colbert brings his aging fans with him.

Leno/Letterman/Fallon/Colbert in the last 3 years have been in weird territory.

Fallon from the very beginning has been conscious of marketing towards the internet. It's why he is number #1 and why he has the younger fans.

Colbert and his new show don't or don't want to grasp this and have continually put out skits and concepts that feel like they're from the 90s. He's losing on TV, the media and the internet. Colbert came to a show in desperate need of a younger fresh voice. Not only has colbert failed at that but he's failed at even bringing his own fans with him.

Even James Corden knows this and his car karaoke is constantly viral and why many have written that cbs may dump colbert and give the job to corden.
