Peoples should be able to consent to the states that they are a part of (see referendums in Scotland and Quebec) in a democracy.

There should be a national conference in which those so-called 'nationalists' have a last ditch attempt to incentivize peoples like the Igbo to stay in Nigeria with a new constitution. If we disagree with the contents, we should have the right to seceede following a referendum question on staying in Nigeria...or not.

I'm not sure his angle but the problem is biafra the geographic location should only be igbo speaking areas.

IPOB leader said they offered him Biafra with core igbo speaking areas. He rejected and wants to include other areas.

Well that's not gonna work because in the past ethnic groups like kalabari, efik, ibibio, igala, idoma, anang, ogoni were not asked to be part of the old east- also the Igbos stopped the first niger delta republic prior to biafra even being thought of.

If the Yoruba want Odudawa Republic - they should have it. If the Hausa want their own country, they should have it. There's no issue with peoples having political autonomy.
