Not according to @Peachstate, @CHICAGO and some other dumb ass who were arguing with me in that thread about scholarships for Caribbeans.
I posted a link for scholarships for African American students and they were saying students who’s parents are Haitians, Nigerians and from other black countries are African Americans

Those students are Black just like African Americans, but they are not African Americans. African Americans are specifically defined ethnic group just like Nigerian, Ethiopian and Jamaican or Haitian.
