Igbos are very pridefull and naturally arrogant people. Many hate us for it, but it gives us our drive and our never die attitude. A determined igbo man is a person you don't want to bet against.

My father was killed by the Nigerian govt. The pain of the youth who are campaigning to endSARS is something that resonates with me because we never got justice. Criminals are revered in the society and anyone with an honest bone in their body is decimated. My mom was left a widow and my 2 younger brothers without a father. So there is nothing you can tell me about that country that I would ever like.

2 reasons:

Baskstball has quietly become the sport of middle class Black Folks and in middle class you see swirling at higher rates. The middle class thing makes sense as economic stability and flexibility is needed to navigate amateur BBall due to the presence of AAU, Sneaker Companies, Camps, and the private/prep schools.

2. Less NBA stars are coming out of the deep south relative to NFL stars. 9/10 if a player is from the deep south they'll have black parents. Most NBA stars are from Pawg friendly regions like the midwest, coastal cities, or international born.

Damn that's a good point. Height is often correlated with great nutrition (plus genetics of course) and basketball is so skill heavy and prep-school/AAU focused that it takes a little bit of money to climb the ladder. There are exceptions if you have LeBron-level, once-in-a-generation ability but most cats aren't like that. Basically a bunch of 6'7" brehs that are NBA starters with the right seasoning but would be lucky to play in the Israeli league or even mid-level college hoops without the right background.

And yeah, I just look at my family. We are mostly Texas/Louisiana. Outside of slave-master fukkery, there was damn near zero swirling until the mid-70's in my family. A bunch 85 to 90% black folks with the lightest being MAYBE Will Smith complexion...and those are the mixed people. It's all football, baseball, track and wrestling. We played ball for fun but no one was really taking basketball seriously after high school. The tall brehs down here end up in the weight room and on the o-line or d-line at Bama, Texas, LSU etc. Tall brehs outside the south get a basketball put in their hands.

Barack Obama is darker than a lot of black people with 2 ADOS parents. Lavar is probably 20-30% white himself just looking at him. White parent matters too. Mixing an Akon-type breh with Taylor Swift is gonna produce very different results than Akon plus some dark-haired, slightly tanned French broad or something.
