I disagree. There are half African mulattos who definitely look mixed like Boris Kodjoe, Tinashe, Sade and the 90s singer Neneh Cherry. There’s some half Nigerian Olympic rower who looks like Blake Griffin (can’t remember dude’s name - he competed in the London 2012 Olympics and was raised in the UK). I personally know a handful of half Africans who look like the typical half white/half ADOS mulattos.

All of them still look black. There’s people with two ADOS parents that look like Boris Kodjoe.

In my experience you don’t see Lonzo Ball or Logic looking mulattos for those who have a 100% ethnic African parent.

Lavar Ball is very light skinned though. Dark skinned ADOS produce mixed kids who look like the people I mentioned.

2 reasons:

Baskstball has quietly become the sport of middle class Black Folks and in middle class you see swirling at higher rates. The middle class thing makes sense as economic stability and flexibility is needed to navigate amateur BBall due to the presence of AAU, Sneaker Companies, Camps, and the private/prep schools.

2. Less NBA stars are coming out of the deep south relative to NFL stars. 9/10 if a player is from the deep south they'll have black parents. Most NBA stars are from Pawg friendly regions like the midwest, coastal cities, or international born.
