This is why I'm so anti-religion in principle.
Religious moderates ALWAYS lose because these fundies are people who take their religion seriously...which in practice is what you're SUPPOSED to do.
Maybe you aren't familiar with the group.......but if there are hundreds of thousands of peaceful Muslims who are poor and not back by the politicians... and a couple hundred of them guys- aka some of the most ruthless people on the planet... WTF are the people supposed to do? Especially when secular politicians are the real cause of the group and the killings?
Village after village and in many towns and cities people- have tried to form militia groups of regular Muslims and were slaughtered. These days that group is seeking out these groups to keep resistance down, so any group of men that form are slaughtered and their daughters are raped.
And your right, rich and powerful are supporting these groups - but not all are Muslim, and realistically their religion is irrelevant. Its about power and billions.
Muslims that read the quran wouldn't have a problem with what these extremist groups are doing, as its ALL advocated.
And before you say "well the quran says this stuff is wrong"...and the answer to that is that if a book is going to be that contradictory, then it can't claim to be any sort of legitimate authority on the very topics its followers can misinterpret.

I have you studied the Quran... ? How are you can expert on what a Muslim person thinks or should think after reading the Quran?
First off you're completely wrong. But even if you weren't ignorant as shyt on the subject - there is a thing called common decency and morality. If nearly 2 billion people decided that taking care of family and being peaceful is obviously in line with the Quran - and pockets of 50 people here and there who get funded by politicians or extremist groups - act crazy .... I guess the 2 billion are wrong and the less than 1 % are right??
That's illogical. That's like saying all Americans are fukked up because of our crime rates being higher than other nations. Or that all black people are........fill in the blank with a value.
And I would never say "well the quran says this stuff is wrong". To say that and for you to even suggest that clearly shows a lack of understanding on the subject of Islam. It's not a right and wrong book... its a righteous n pious vs.... what you feel isn't right. The Quran and Islam in general is a lifestyle and set of principles centered around allah and living right.
It doesn't tell u... be a poor African and get offered money, p*ssy, and companions - instead of living in poverty. It doesn't say get feed drugs at 10 and start killing at 12 then lightly rep some random form of Islam so that ignorant people can question all Muslims. These people aren't going to Mosque n shyt. These people aren't even recognized has Muslims.
The factors that cause this exist without Islam. I guess if there is an opportunity to diss Islam - People care less about human life when it involves Muslims dying - especially black Muslims.

When you're invoking the quran as a means to justify this behavior, no matter how much this might relate to resources allocation, unemployment, ethnic strife, or some other vast qualifier that allows you to skirt islamic responsibility, it doesn't matter.
Islam matters to the attacks and was used to justify their attempts to invoke an islamic state ultimately.

We simply aren't interested in solving any issues when we could simply diss islam and generalize Muslims.
The people who will be killed are Muslim. Based on everything you post I would think you would be elated that the victims were raped and murdered.
I guess the reason for all the Murders in China, Russia, India, and the US are also because of Islam.
