The old "Egypt was multicultural" excuse. Egypt was only slightly diverse in the North.
The ruling families/dynasties are from the South which means that Moses was adopted by a black family.
Had he looked different he would've been eliminated on the spot. That Pharaoh wasn't playing around.
He was in the middle of a genocide on the original Israelites.
Had Moses or Israelites, in general, looked like the guy in @Sccit's picture we wouldn't know about his story today.
They had to look similar to the black Egyptians in order for Moses to blend in with the royal family.
Additionally, according to Islamic sources, there's no argument about Moses's skin colour. Prophet Musa PBUH was described as black by Prophet Muhammad PBUH.
This means that the original Israelites looked similar to the black ancient Egyptians the same way as the Ashkenazis looked similar to the Germans.
Finally, don't try to say that Ramses II or his ilk looked Middle Eastern because I won't reply to stupidity. He looks no different than a Somali who uses henna on his hair.
WRONG
THE GUY I POSTED IS A TRADITIONAL MIZRAHI ISRAELI
ITS NOT HARD TO SEE HOW HE WOULD BE PASSABLE FOR BLACK COOKIN IN THE HOT EGYPT SUN
HE ALREADY LOOKS BLACKER THAN KLAY THOMPSON OR STEPH CURRY, FOR EXAMPLE
STILL, WE DONT KNOW WHAT KINDA MIXING THERE WAS IN EGYPT.. PEOPLE WERENT CLASSIFIED BY RACE BACK THEN. PHAROAH HIMSELF COULD HAVE BEEN BIRACIAL, AS MANY EGYPTIANS WERE.. BUT EVEN IF HE WASNT, HAVE U NEVER HEARD OF VERDA BYRD? AND THAT WAS A STRAIGHT WHITE WOMAN
