I also believe our Savior looked like a so-called Black man, but more like a so-called African-American man. There are other scriptures to back this up. Although Revelation 1:15 could mean appearance, I don't think it mean his feet looked burnt near black like in that photo. To get fine medal, including fine brass, it must be put into the furnace, then polished from it's impurities after it cools. That give the medal it's glowy, shiny appearance. Since brass was not yet recognized in the early testaments, it's often interchangeable with copper, which comes straight out the ground. Fine copper would be the color of a glowy, shiny copper bar or penny...which could be any shade of brown. Rev 1:15 can be taken as a parable too, meaning our Savior walked through the fiery furnace of our sins, and his feet was made into fine brass (polished of infirmaries), meaning he was then washed of our sins by the Most High.

I also disagree with a lot of Israelite camps when they teach that our Savior was very, very dark-skinned, and use Revelation 1:15 to back it up. I'm not for us when we emphasize what shade of brown our Savior was, especially when it can be left up for different interpretations. It also sounds divisive to me. I could take my interpretation in the paragraph above, and argue that our Savior was a lighter-skinned man like Snoop Dog or Will Smith, if I wanted too, but that would be divisive as well. I probably made a lot of brothers skin boil just by saying our Savior could have been anything close to light-skinned. What I don't understand is why do so many of those camps teach that our Savior was very Black, that would more likely fit a Hamite, when we are Israelites. I'm not saying our Savior couldn't have been dark-skinned, but burnt near Black is going off in my opinion. I assume they don't want Him to be anything close to White, although it's all about the bloodline, and not about skintone.

Again the main reason why God looked down on it was because the other nations were pagan, which often idolatry is what led God's wrath. The hebrews usually had strangers among them aka non hebrews who God told them yo treat right because they were once strangers.
