"mainstream" argue that it's ultimate origin is in Northeast Africa.

From a "Biblical" perspective (for whatever it's worth) the narrative of the "Hebrews" does harmonize with the scenario of the plight of Africans in the Americas more than any other people on Earth. Some of our people were in fact brought to the Americas forcibly by ship and what not, and enslaved for 4 centuries, as the "prophecy" in the Bible states. Now while I do not follow religious narratives as far as identity is concerned, I can certainly respect the argument that our people fit the description of the "chosen people" of that book for whatever it's worth.

Agreed! Nubia - Kemet however was at one period was the region that Bantus, Nilotes, Cushytic and Dravidians originated and cohabitated. Don't argue with me argue with the evidence in the link above.
Who has ever made that argument? There is over 2,500 years of separation between Kemet and today. If YOU misinterpreted someone's argument then you need to realize it. People who are alot more qualified and versed in African history than yourself from actual African griots to European explorers have made this argument time and time again. When the civilization was destroyed migrations into inner Africa, Asia and the Americas began to take place.
