Eh...the traditional "WASP" were originally from the northeast. An identity + culture affiliated with New England. Descendants of Puritans who came by way of the Mayflower. If you weren't from New England, you couldn't really call yourself a WASP.

The slaveowners were what they called "Cavaliers". They were descendants of English aristocrats that came to Jamestown and the Tidewater area of Virginia. English aristocrats were not Saxons like the New England Puritans, they were Normans. Saxons and Normans are two different ethnic groups. The Normans came to England from Normandy via William the Conquerer and generally lorded over the native Saxon population.

The Klan was a marriage between the landowning Cavaliers and the poorer Scots-Irish who were the greater portion of the southern population.

Technically true, but the "Black cause" dismantled barriers and hurdles that limited jews from advancing also.
The Civil Rights Acts (on paper) dismantled (and enforced legal recourse against) discrimination against people based on race,religion,etc.

When those laws were passed and factions of the CRM began questioning Israel's role in international affairs, many jewish benefactors and writers pulled support/coverage. Their dollars and resources, and they are free to do whatever they wanted with them, but their support was self serving....and was yanked when that was no longer the case.
