I take nikkas on a journeyI 100% knew he was going to do a 360 opinion wise on this game. He does it all the time. He didn't like the Souls stuff before he started playing them. Dude went from hating RE7 to loving it.
By the end of re7 I was back where I started.
Game is just average as fukk.
Devs take something good and squander it by the end. That's why re7 gates an 8.4 for me.
This game started off average but by the time I bought skills, saw the forging system and other gameplay elements like Gore I was won over.

By the end of the game it could start getting so repetitive in forced to scale back my 9 to an 8 because of overly redundant gameplay
The first stage was God awful I'm sorry.

I'll be honest, in these kind of games, I'm terrible at reading up and keeping up with all the items early on. The most important thing is learning your opponent's patterns and when to counter attack for me. This game has a lot of stuff in it, and I'm more of a hands on and just play kind of gamer. I'll get around to all the intricate stuff eventually. You can spend mad time just reading through what everything is and for... you can spend a ton of time dismembering/selling and forging your shyt too.

Nue was light work and not very punishing. 2ND try. Greed will always get you slapped up in this game though.
