Nah they are more deliberate in combat in nioh if you slightly mess up you can recover in the others you better they don't kill you in three hits

So much of what I see is from the Team Ninja gene pool.
Would I be right in saying that the things that seem "new" to me in Nioh, are in fact the Souls influences?
I only ask because it seems like I slept on a good series of games that I need to try out.

This is excellent. I've put a few hours in and its a challenge for sure but not as difficult as I expected.
The main reason it isnt as difficult is dying in the game isnt a problem, and you keep your shyt.
Do any old school Xbox Ninja Gaiden players remember "Dog Ninja". If you kept fukking up Ayane would offer to make you her Ninja Dog in exchange for her help.

As someone who plays dark souls the gimmicks used in this game and combat are heavily influenced by dark souls. The developers have admitted this so if you enjoy this game you should also enjoy bloodborne because it's better then this game
