i didnt enjoy what i played in the first one
The graphics in the sequel are amazing. Looks like hand drawn animation. I'll cop day one. Been waiting a long time for Level 5 to make a console RPGs again. The first game was great. Probably the best JRPG on the PS3.

Is it worth going back and buying the first on ps3? Never played it.
Man I gave up on that game. I could never quite understand how to defend. I remember there was a defend option, and I would have to bring up a menu to use it but by the time I did, whatever attack was coming would already have hit me. I had to turn it off before I got frustrated. I loved the art style though.
