Should be but not thrown in the bushes:
Daniel Jones made his $ from Saquan's impact + production
Burrow's injury history is often overlooked
Derick Carr been mid - too good of a rookie to draft his replacement and not good enough for a solid SB run

Which Cac QBs got thrown in the bushes?

This (minus Burrow who is elite). The entire concept of positional value overstated specifically to protect below average QBs like Jones and Carr. Baker Mayfield is about to get over-paid by the Bucs because of this shyt. If you're a Giants fan you're prob worried your organization will turn down an opportunity to draft a QB in April because your owner is concerned about the feelings of Daniel fukking Jones.

Y’all just be saying anything. The standards are different for black QBs, y’all make the bar low for cacs. Which cac QBs got thrown in bushes?

It’s definitely not Baker Mayfield who’s been mid for the majority of career despite all those commercials and opportunities to start with the Rams and Buc. His career was not almost over 🤦🏾‍♂️

It takes totally monumental circumstances for white QBs (especially mediocre to bad ones) to get tossed to the side. That list is just Ryan Leaf and Johnny Manziel. Everybody else gets to hang around getting endless chances or secure backup roles. Like…why is Matt Barkley still in the league :mjlol: ?? He should’ve BEEN wearing a headset or on college game day

Career definitely wasnt over but his career as a starter was on the brink

Panthers basically benched him for Sam Darnold. If the Rams didn't trade for him and give him a chance to start he finishes 2022 as QB2 on the panthers and probably doesn't get the Tampa deal. At that point he's probably resigned as Bryce's backup or goes to a contender to backup an elite QB.

Big ass “if”…Baker is a competent NFL QB (starter, good backup, not franchise). This season as dude said cac QBs (ie Baker) getting thrown in the bushes is 🧢.

I think you are missing the point. The odds Baker would have found a starting job last off season were damn near next to nothing. Getting traded to the Rams revived his career AS A STARTER.

Baker was PFFs 36th ranked QB last season because of his time in Carolina. If he finished that season as Darnold's backup nobody was signing him as their day 1 starter. Now with all the QB injuries he would have started eventually but thats not the point.

They don't get critiqued to death like black QB's. First Take had a "is Lamar worth his contract" segment early the season. SAS and Shannon said no. By week 16 they both had him as MVP and yesterday they said Pat and Lamar are the top 2 QB's in the league. Not once did they ask "is Herbert worth his contract?" They barely mentioned Trevor Lawrence yesterday.

There's no black starting QB who can fly under the radar besides maybe Geno and that's mainly because he spent most of his career as a backup.
