The entire NFL apparatus, from local to ESPN/Fox/etc media to teams, are focused on advancing white franchise QBs with no questions asked. If a black QB botched the season like Lawrence he'd be subject to all types of leaks, Troy Aikman would be questioning him during broadcasts, and the table would be set to draft competition.

They already scapegoated their Black DC, and the Athletic article went out of their way to say that the offense was not at all the problem for their collapse.

During their horrid six-game stretch, the Jaguars ranked 27th in defensive EPA/play and success rate. Oh, and should I add that the Jags defense pitched a shutout for their only victory? I don’t care how your offense plays, those type of numbers aren’t going to allow you to win football games in the NFL. — Austin Mock, NFL staff writer

They gave up 20.3 ppg over the last 4 weeks, which would've been top 10 over the course of the season, but only scored 16.3, which would've ranked in the bottom 5. But they "don't care how the offense plays"

It's just :scust:

Should be but not thrown in the bushes:
Daniel Jones made his $ from Saquan's impact + production
Burrow's injury history is often overlooked
Derick Carr been mid - too good of a rookie to draft his replacement and not good enough for a solid SB run

Which Cac QBs got thrown in the bushes?

The list of number one pick QBs to win a Superbowl ain’t long

The last few

Peyton (that second one was Bizarro Peyton. He was 100% ass that season. Real debate between him and Ryan Leaf when drafted)

Eli (we know he wasn’t generational or some can’t miss prospect) but got two

Elway - undisputed number one pick and generational … didn’t win shyt until Shanny Senior and TD got there

Luck was generational and we saw what happened

Sunshine in Jax looking real above average pedestrian

Situation and Coaching >>>>>>>>>

Elway and Peyton are the only number one QBs in the top ten of all time
And still balled on the Pats in the playoffs @BucciMane :umad:

AFC North is the best division in NFL... had the hardest strength of schedule this year! And only division every team was above .500

If Burrow wasn't injured could've sent all 4 teams to the playoffs .
