It's because Burrow was a no.1 overall pick while Purdy was a 7th round pick, last overall

While I agree the hate Purdy gets is over the top, the 9ers were a good team prior to Purdy taking over. There is a reason why Cincy was in position to get Burrow. Burrow is not the QB you should be doing this comparison with.
