I would Take Purdy over Tua right nowBrock went from underrated to overrated. It's a good story and overall he's playing well but folk going overboard with the comparisons.

The Purdy discussion is nasty...he's a solid QB who needs everything around him to be damn near perfect....and that's ok
But even better, put Brock on Chicago's roster...put him in Carolina...are we still talking MVP? Is he taking them to the playoffs?
its that even football-oriented folks have A LOT of issues separating the QB from a system. Fans have no idea and anyone claiming that they can separate a QB in a vacuum from their coaching and/or system, is just bullshytting.
TyreekI too think Dak is MVP at this point in the season.
I'm not though ?You watch every Niner game as I do. You can witness the difference between a play that was drawn up so well that Deebo or Kittle is wide open with nobody within 10 yards of them and a play where the line collapses and Purdy has to improvise with his legs, elude defenders or when the pocket is breaking down still throws a dot on the money with anticipation... as he did to Aiyuk last night. That wasn't even SUPPOSED to go to Aiyuk originally.
Why are we pretending it's all the system? Because some idiots who don't watch Niner games are mad that people over "overrating" him? You want to please the non-watchers?

Have you read my post ?
You know I like Brock a lot
My post was actually directed at people who say 'qb X is a system qb'. I dont think theres such a thing because most teams create around their qb strengths. its very difficult to take out qb by himself out of an offense and judge him alone.
If anything my post was defending Brock lol
yeah those people still thinking purdy just throws to wide open guys whom Shanny schemes open youre not gonna change their mindI can see how some QB's only flourish or are able to maintain in a certain system but Purdy has shown his has abilities that stretch beyond Shanny's playcalling or the talent around him.. That's all I'm saying.
I don't think most people in here commenting have seen half of the footage on Brock as we have.
I'm sure you wouldI would Take Purdy over Tua right now
I don't agree at all, especially Tua.Lions and dolphins pretty similar. Mediocre QBs proped up by great supporting cast. They beat down who they are supposed to beat but lose to elite teams

Have seen plenty of Brock. He's playing on an all star team. He's good too, but he's not as good as the number show.
They quit because they have no faith in the offense. Not making a move for a QB once Rodgers went down told the defense they're not serious about winning this year. Starting Boyle really let them know.
Saleh got a raw deal. The front office did him no favors starting with all the terrible moves they made to acquire Rodgers. He should get another year because the only bright spot is the defense.
The right side of the line stinks. As a niner fan you should know that.
I would Take Purdy over Tua right now
As long as Trent is in, he fine.
