These will be cfb home playoff games. There’s a reason why CFB games are 98% played on Saturdays in the fall.

Because outside of the rare big game, Nobody gives a fukk or has time to make weekday games, tailgate, hang out late after, etc.

NFL has Sundays. That’s their day. We already have the trash ass Monday national title game schedule. They need to take they asses on :camby:
Nfl gonna do CFP like they did the nba if they dont play ball. Nfl put their games on christmas even when its not played on Sunday

Exactly what is the NFL offering as a trade? It sounds like they just telling the NCAA to do this.

At least for one season I’d keep the schedule as is and just see what the NFL does.

NFL gonna put a primetime game with playoff implications and it's gonna kill whatever college game is playing. If it's Cowboys vs Eagles you can forget about that college game.

2 things are true imo

1) is the NFL a bigger entity than CFB : YES

2) is CFB the only entity that can tell the NFL to go fukk themselves and be largely unaffected: YES

College football down south is KING

A whole lot of ppl in Arkansas and Alabama will watch CFB over NFL

The NFL KNOWS THIS

Thats why they are ASKING and not DOING.
The thing that is overlooked, sometimes, when people compare ratings between NFL vs NCAAF is that there are so many MORE games in NCAA, since there are so many more teams.

Of course, the Sunday schedule of the NFL, with 30 something teams, is going to have higher ratings than even bigger NCAA games.

But if you look at the total amount of people watching college football, even at lower levels like North/South Dakota type programs, the viewer base of college football as a whole is HUGE.

Honestly, I hate the NFL and haven't really watched it since like 2012-13, but I don't mind this.

The CFB playoff expansion is trash imo, so if the NFL makes the NCAA hurt for being greedy, just like the NFL is, so be it :yeshrug:
