I can see the commercials now
*Breh gets pulled over by the cops. Cops reaches for weapon. Breh reaches for stereo knob and turns some bullshyt song up about social injustice with a tear rolling down his face. Cop removes hand from waist and says "drive safely, son" and walks away.
Disappointing but
Im still convinced most detractors dont even know what THEY want the NFL/Jay-Z to do. They just want to see the NFL suffer for *checks notes* police brutality?
In other words the ones in the wrong are those expecting Jay to actually have an effect on change instead of just seeing this as a money grab for him and the NFL...You're rightThese are pretty dumb post. If you are looking for Jay or the NFL to stop racism, oppression and police brutality you are an idiot.
2nd. The NFL and Jay are in the entertainment business. Any charitable acts will obviously revolve around what they do best... entertainment. They announced this in the first meeting. So a free kick off concert with proceeds to charity is just that. It's not the end all be all of the venture. Just the start.
The NFL has set aside 100 million for this social justice initiative. Jay just got to a Billy. He doesn't have 100 million lying around to give away. The NFL does.
And even if he did... Yall expect jay to go broke giving away all his money when you dont even respect all the money and efforts he has already given back? For what? So he can go out like mc hammer?

The social justice initiative already exists through Malcolm Jenkins & the players coalition. So what’s the purpose of Jay-Z?

Tax writeoff chief...it also pays for itself in good publicity. They bank on gullible folk biting the bullshyt tho.Is every charity a money grab in your eyes? If a rich person's charity tax write off can send a regular person to college and change their life should we tell them not do it? Cause tax write offs let them keep more money by reducing their tax burden.
How much are they making from a free concert?
How much profit can they really make if they donate the proceeds to charities?
If the goal is making money then this is a bad business plan.
