How many of yall gonna cancel jay and the nfl though? :unimpressed:

nobody

Jay could have done what he wanted to do without the cloak of righteousness he was trying to push with this

He has donated money to some worthwhile causes and done otherwise good things

He didnt have to make this deal and he can be rightly criticized for its optics and the apparent mechanics of how it works

As for the NFL.....the NFL could behead black people live on television for sport and a lot of these dudes would buy tickets, tv packages and memorabilia so that is not even worth discussing anymore :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

I can see the commercials now

*Breh gets pulled over by the cops. Cops reaches for weapon. Breh reaches for stereo knob and turns some bullshyt song up about social injustice with a tear rolling down his face. Cop removes hand from waist and says "drive safely, son" and walks away.

Do they have dirt on Jay Z? Thats the only possible explanation I can think of. This deal is not just a bad look, its stupid from every angle. Kills Jay Z's brand and it cant be worth more then pennies

Disappointing but :yeshrug:

Im still convinced most detractors dont even know what THEY want the NFL/Jay-Z to do. They just want to see the NFL suffer for *checks notes* police brutality?

I actually think everyone involved is stupId at this point. Eric Reid thinks too highly of himself and so does Kapernick. The NFL isn’t the federal government and this isn’t school busing. They’re basically pretending that by not hiring Kapernick or by not highlighting protesting by NFL players that the conversation will end. Except there has been no evidence of that and you have political candidates like Sanders and Warren explicitly talking about police brutality. Kapernick’s job isn’t the movement and the NFL isn’t a change for social justice nor is it the government. Jay made a bad PR move and once again Reid and Colin are popping shyt with no details like how Ben Watson made him look stupid last week. Quite frankly, I dislike all parties at this point. Don’t know what Jay was thinking.

Jay is only loyal to certain people. Himself. Ty Ty. Law. Juan. And most of all Emory. He only half ass loyal to Bey. None of this is new. He has consistently screwed over those he deems dispensable. He don’t even fukk with Biggs like that. Biggs finally got the picture and moved around. All he had was referencing Reasonable Doubt and 1996.

Emory- my personal favorite was able to take his campaign to another because Jay made it clear to the corporates Emory is part of his small immediate inner circle.

Is Dame FOS most of the time? Yes. But 80% of what he says about Jay is correct.

Nas is respected in business because he makes moves that are clean and smart. He’s not trying to look like he is the man and get people to buy in. Anthony Selah, his Manager is also very book and business smart. They make smart moves.
