NFL parity doesn't mean much, if you're a fan of a perennial loser.

I’m a Bengals and Cavs fan I definitely appreciate the parity in the NFL. We legit went from picking in the top 10 to the superbowl. The Cavs have done a great job rebuilding post Lebron and we aren’t even at that level.
:mjlol:

You guys might go to your 2nd straight conference title. Congrats to you, but that ain’t parity. That’s a quick rebuild, due to you guys having a hall of fame QB. You guys are gonna dominate the conference for a long time, which is good for you giys, but doesn’t bode well for the rest of us. That ain’t parity. Conference dominated by 3 QBs. :dead:

That is Parity,

Baltimore is trying to haggle with their QB over money because of salary cap implications.

The Bengals are licking right now because their best 2 offensive weapons are on rookie deals. Once they have to pay them, it’s going to be a wrap unless they draft well.

Too much emphasis on QBs and not enough elite QBs to go around.

I agree NFL is great at convincing people their team has a chance, it's even worse now with 14/32 teams making the playoffs.

You have some fans convinced that playoff appearance = successful season when they've been watering down the playoffs.

Breh, as long as they have Burrow, they’re gonna have a better chance than other teams in the conference who are still struggling to find a healthy franchise QB. It took a decade for the Steelers to fall off. Finally when Ben got old. :mjlol:

The 49ers have been a consistent team under Shanahan. Didn’t they make it to conference title game a couple years back? They have a good system, and shanahan keeps it trucking. This is a nice story, but SF with Samuel, Kittle, McCaferty, were expected to do good this year. They had a 6-10 season a couple years ago, but they’ve been one of the better teams the last 3 years.

What 49ers are doing is incredible but who's the next best plug and play qb system?

I think they're an exception.
Big time exception. Hurts is whooping the giants ass, and even if Purdy beats Dak tomorrow the final 4 is gonna be some combination of Jalen, Allen/Burrow, Mahomes and Purdy being the odd man out. :mjlol:

Mahomes literally going to his 5th straight conference tital. And he did it on a bum ankle. And nobodies shocked they made it to their 5th, but folks stll wanna holler parity. Nobody is shocked Jacksonville lost.

16 teams won between 7 and 9 games this year. None of them are serious Superbowl contenders.

That's NFL parity, a bunch of teams aimlessly hovering around .500
Bruh you preaching. Ppl are so fukkin blind dude. Making the playoffs in the NFL is considered success and it’s considered being proof that parity exist. A 9-8 team falling ass backward into the playoffs and losing in the Wild Card round isn’t true parity.

I think you're conflating parity and teams strength depending more and more on elite qb play.

Teams like Chiefs etc are good in the first place because of their QBs but it is a good coached team with bunch of good pieces around. Same with Eagles. You have examples of hof qb not being able to make another SB in 10+ years (Rodgers).
But having an elite qb nowadays more and more means a strong team, with some exceptions.

Parity is there in the NFL as long as salary cap exists and draft exists. Sure it is looking more and more like you have to somehow get a great qb to be an elite team, but at least you can do it via draft or FA

Some other team couldve given Tennessee a better haul for AJ Brown and Eagles aren't as dominant this year.

Parity doesn't mean you magically can be a top team without elite players or elite organization in place. It means youre given an equal opportunity to build these and if you're really bad, you can draft some good cheap young players and rebuild. And you're rewarded for making good choices. But if you suck at building a team, then nothing gonna help.

Nah, parity means exactly what the definition of parity means. Too often, ppl act as though your organizations wrong decisions won’t cost them a playoff spot or a super bowl appearance. But like any other sport, drafting the wrong QB, or drafting a player that doesn’t Pan out, will put your organization in the hole for years. Plenty of organizations have drafted the QB they honestly thought was gonna be HoF worthy, just for them to end up being a bust and they end up having another failed season, while the teams with HoF QBs are consistently in the playoffs or consistently “in the hunt” at the very least. The dolphins have like 3 playoff appearances in like the 20+ years since Marino retired. Meanwhile we had to watch the Brady, Big Ben and Peyton, and now Mahomes, Allen, and Burrow dominate the AFC for 20+ years. How is that parity? Mahomes going to his 5th straight AFC title game. Cmon!! :mjlol:

Check 1 you have a good run
Check 2/3 you're always competing
Check 3 you're mentioned how there's no parity

It's pretty simple :manny:
