When Zeke walks into Jerry Jones' office today, do u think he wears something TIGHT and FITTING so Mr. Jones can see that he is in game shape and ready to be a lead hoss? :dwillhuh:

Goff just got an extension....

No numbers yet but I’m betting it’s close to 30m per

Not a good move for my Rams. I would have waited to see him this year without a full strength Gurley

I mean do they have a choice? I’m not saying what’s right or wrong but what’s the move here if they don’t pay him? Trade him for picks (prob get a great haul) and draft another QB and slow down there chances to win a SB? Overpay for an average vet and use the 15M you save yearly to spend elsewhere? I’m not sure that makes them any better. Again I don’t know what’s right or wrong here

Bears are going to be in a very tough situation with Mitch next offseason. Ryan Pace is a great GM and aggressive/forward thinking so I’m curious how he handles this

To be honest I think you’re, right. We didn’t have a choice here. The QB market is all fukked up and if we waited another season we might have had to pay him 35-40m per.

But then if he regresses and struggles without Gurley like he did in the super bowl we are all the way fukked.

I dunno what the Rams should have done here.

I’d be very surprised if he stops being an above average QB any time soon. I think they definitely saved some money by doing it now too, Mahomes will break the bank and reset everything next offseason

Goff’s contract makes what Philly did with Wentz seem like the right move. And when you see some of the QB contracts in coming years you’ll feel the same about Goff
