T.O shouldnt make it tbh

He was a good talent that never really won shyt :yeshrug:

Plus by the end of his career he was more a side show than an actual asset to teams he was on

:scust::camby: TO performed everywhere he went. In his prime he was an absolute monster. He could line up anywhere and run any route. He was physical and stepped the fukk up in big games. His SB performance playing on one leg is just :ohlawd:.

TO only had one flaw, inconsistent hands..he made Jeff Garcia look elite by routinely taking simple crosses, slants and pivot routes to the house..

Inconsistent but he was so beastly it didn't even really bother me that much. When he needed to perform, he did. Word. Those are my fondest memories of TO.

Yes, he was and yes he did...the Cowboys star game, the catch two, the 20 catch game, the legendary comeback vs NYG, the MNF Sharpie game, the Superbowl dominance, the revenge game over the defending SuperBowl champions Bucs etc....

Breh :deadmanny:
u cant be serious

A team with a balanced offense with a lead can run the ball without having to worry about a defense stacking the line

If a defense does put 8 in the box the offense will audible to a play action and the receiver will have less men to beat in the secondary. That helps a running game tremendously, especially when you have a physical receiver and mismatch like irving or gates, and a great qb throwing to him.

bettis didnt have that advantage until ben was drafted and he only had two more years left. So teams were stacking the line without having to worry about the offense passing over their heads but still couldnt stop the Bus from moving the chains.

You seem to be under the impression that a team is obligated to run the ball in closing situations. But if you have a passing threat it keeps the defense from committing 100% to the run in these situations.

I cant believe I have to explain this to someone. :upsetfavre:
creh, i understand all of this. im talking about end of game "closing" situations which you referred too. Your dumbass dont even know your argument.

And like I said before, Barry Foster finished 2nd in rushing with Neil O'Donnell and Bubby Brister at QB. Bettis was not special.

I cant even tell if youre a troll or just stupid :pachaha:Youre allowed to pass in those closing situations, thats why a passing threat helps. Reread that until your brain grasps it. Dont get a headache.

:camby:

You dont even know what your argument is at this point. It went from bettis being the best closer (which he wasnt), to dismissing truly great RBs like Emmitt to know saying "you can pass the ball," while not acknowleding that a similarly fat RB actually had a better season in Pittsburgh than Bettis ever had with the same QB you shytted on earlier.

Bettis is a classic case of a stat compiler, combined with being part of one of the most iconic NFL franchises and having a nick-name like "The Bus". The definition of over-rated.

You could make the same argument for Kevin Greene.

Anyway - Dungy, Atwater, T.O., Wranglers, & Pace should be first ballot this go.

This is going to be one of the better classes in recent memory. Brett is lock for sure but then a lot of the others x-factors. TO and Faneca should be in there but they are going to make Owens wait we all know. I could even see them finally putting Ken Stabler in.

Favre is a lock...

Warner will get in but I don't know about first ballot

TO should be a lock but it will probably be another decade before he gets his due.
T.O. should get in first ballot but i can see them making him wait for all the shyt he caused with the Niners,Eagles and Cowboys. Also seems like WR's have to wait unless you're Jerry Rice.
