There's too many QBs floating on the market for Washington to pass on Young. Take Young, and find whoever the best fit on the market is between Bridewater, Rivers, Jameis, etc. We can easily land a veteran to steady the ship while building the rest of the roster...

Right, and I don't like that. Tua isn't a "can't miss" prospect to me. I think he has a high ceiling, but I also think he's injury-prone, and haven't we had enough of that in DC?
We're not winning a title in '20 anyway, so let's go forward with rounding out the team, and go forward with the best QB possible. Smith won't be back, I don't think, and Haskins isn't the guy. Theres an unusually deep QB free agent class, do our due diligence and find the competent guy to lead an improving squad that ain't there yet!

Minshew had a great rookie year behind one of the worst OL in the league. Jags just need to improve their OL and he'll be fineNothing ends well with us. We'll probably get nothing for Foles either, we got him when his value was high and are now trading him while his value is low, plus Minshew isn't the answer at QB.
As far as Jameis goes, I hope he can start wherever he ends up. I trust he'll play better post eye surgery.

i like washington passing up on chase young,,, they got a decent front 7, and with chase young and with defensive minded Ron Rivera could've coach them up, into a lethal defense, that would've gave my BOYS fits 2x a season.

Yea it wouldn't help much cap wise for this year and they will probably have to add a late pick to get someone to take him but they have to move him to get out of those last 2 years of his contract.
