Well see if he really wants to play for a contender
Clowney is a smart guy he knows Seattle is sinking ship. He's going to the Jets or Titans!

Chiefskingdom let’s go
Once they pay Mahommes, it's over..
You'll see who the #1 seed in the AFC will be this season, and they reside in Foxborough..
You don’t believe that lol
We'll see what happens. I would say if there is one team that can afford to pay a QB $40 mil/year and still be competitive, it would be the Chiefs and Mahommes. Would not work for any other QB.
And, I don't like making season predictions about the Patriots, but I think they can still absolutely win the division. I'm sure there will be a lot of Buffalo talk, but the AFC East still runs through New England.
Patriots have a brutal schedule though.
Buffalo x2
@Texans
@Chiefs
@chargers
@Rams
@Seahawks
49er's
Ravens
Still have Jets x2, Dolphins x 2, and then the Raiders/Cardinals/Broncos.
That schedule is tough as hell.
14-2
.
I mean of course that's a potential concern after any major surgery but you can't "what if" everything because I can easily turn around and say it's also very likely he'll have no future issues with the hip. As far as right now, things can't be better
Yea remember when the Dolphins were not satisfied with Drew Brees physical after the arm injury? That worked out well for the organization
Yea and like Brees he has the game to not take a lot of high impact sacks. Or at least hopefully he realizes now that he can't hold on to the ball foreverYea remember when the Dolphins were not satisfied with Drew Brees physical after the arm injury? That worked out well for the organization
That kind of injury is very, very unlikely to happen again. The only concern is like you said earlier about the arthritisWe are talking about a hip injury though which is more serious and prone to re-injury.

Eh if the best hip specialists in the world clear him and say he's 100% then there's no reason to not play him. It's not going to get any better by waiting, you would just be delaying the inevitable hits.Which is why I’d still give him a medical redshirt year and keep both Rosen and Fitzpatrick while letting him be the 3rd QB on the roster.
