I’d be VERY surprised if this is tied to anyone in Ohio. The bets were all nowhere near from there. I’m skeptical Rozier was fully in on the situation actually. I lean towards team staff/him telling someone he would be limited, and they spread the word. I lm not fully convinced he was akin to porter outright rigging things to settle mob debts. Think he played to satisfy some sort of games played clause, and then was shut down for the season and someone leaked the mins limit
Crazy.

What does this mean?

:lupe: It’s crazy how ‘hot’ this was in real time. This now makes me question any time a popular bet’s lines get taken down which seems to happen all the time

Exactly that. No news, Rozier gets pounded under at any price, folks wanting wild amounts. Multiple books pulled his lines. Only plays a quarter. Was raised to the nba as it was clearly insider info, they either brushed it off entirely or barely looked into anything, and said “all good”

This is probably gonna happen more now in college with NIL and the lack of regulations around players making money.

I've been saying this for a few years now. Sports gambling is too close to the field/court.

It's literally on the court now.

Our eyes are not deceiving us. We can see when players and refs have some extra curricular activities going on.
Lol so you could see that rozier and porter were thieves?

Who else?

I'm not understanding your reply.

I don't know who's gambling or not but when you see bball refs call tic tac fouls one quarter then let them play the next. It's makes me side-eye the refs.

The ease of gambling is probably enticing.

Plenty to argue with me about but I’m as plugged into the betting landscape as it gets. I’ve broken a number of the bigger betting scandals of the last few years :heh:

Have to give credit where credit it due. You have no doubt been on point with the sports gambling.

I don’t blindly trust people or sources, but if you say something has legs, I listen.

I’m really wondering if there going to half ass this investigation and only punish role/fringe players or are they going to go after everybody.

There’s a nba star and a coach who’s been suspected/accused of doing this for years.

Yep.

I wonder what is the minimum that would be considered a red flag. Like, if I bet 1,000 that he would get under 7.5 ast, and that was my only bet, is that amount enough to red flag the bet.

There’s a verification process that you have to go through in order to play on betting sites. Certain people( family members, friends etc) having accounts at all raises a red flag.

What was the deal with Beasley? Was he purposely not going for rebounds?
