as much as i side with kendrick in this beef with drake, under no circumstances would i ever consider him the greatest rapper of the current era. there are a number of artists whose music i would rather bump. and they may not match his technical skill, but their music is, to MY ears, far superior. just to name a few:

oh, i respect his pen game. no question. i think, like you said, his delivery is an acquired taste. comes across as forced, which makes it difficult to appreciate the lyricism.
