One of the GOAT shows of the 90s! Thursday nights on Fox in the 90s! Martin, Living Single, and then New York Undercover.

I can't see this show in the 2010s. The show was on a whole another level. The music, the New York clothing, the New York swagger.

Can you imagine New York Undercover with dudes in some skinny jeans and nappy dreads with a soundtrack of Cardi B, Migos, Desiigner, ASAP Rocky, or some mumble rapper?!

I can see it working. I don't think dikk Wolf would compromise this like other reboots. Get a decent semi washed up actor who is poised for a comeback that is good with dialogue...

Maybe partner him with a latin actor that is of the same ilk...Jay Hernandez for instance.

Get an over the hill white chick to be captain...Edie Falco

Get some decent writers who dramatize it without going overboard...

Pair it with a soundtrack that focuses on RnB rather than hip hop, but you can mix it with some trap or boom bap for the action scenes.

I think it could do decent.
