started watching a cop show Blue Bloods (been on for a couple years now, i think theyre into the 3rd season) about a family where most of them have something to do or had something to do with NYPD.. Tom Selleck, Donny Whalberg... it's got the usual episode of wrapping the case up in an epside but has side story throughout it all about some secret set of crooked cops and if members of the family where/are in it... enjoyable without being great so far, still in the first season and atleast it shoots in NY.

Yeah Ice t as a villain has to go down in the top 10 in tv history. This nikka first cancels Malik's fiancé on fukking valentines day. Than when the nikka finally recovers from that heartbreak ice t sends his best ho to seduce yoba to the point he's about to give her the ring; all so she can get close enough to kill his son. Thats some cold ass shyt lol.

How did this show age?


I remember enjoying it back in the day but I also remember enjoying Batman and Robin(Clooney) and Power Rangers and both of those were terrible when I went back to revisit them

How does this show hold up against shyt like The Wire/Sopranos/Breaking Bad/Oz etc?

You really can't compare it to those other shows because for one, NYU came before them, and two, it was on network TV. And those other shows built on the stories and were definitely more intricate and detail oriented. NYU was more of a week-to-week Law & Order type show. It was entertaining as fukk in its own right, but if it came out today it probably wouldn't be that impressive of a show.

But that's like saying if Dr. J got drafted to the NBA today it wouldn't have the same impact.
