No homo but Eddie's hairline was frustrating to look at ...his barber had a sick sense of humor giving that dude a cut and 86ing the shape-up

this was my shyt.

sure the stories were always on some typical shyt and they usually wrapped up nicely at the end of the every episode (typical dikk wolf steez) but i fukked with this hard.

having the dope guests at the end rocking at Natalie's and seeing hip-hop culture in the show and having the dope music playing throughout scenes and having minorities as more than the criminals was ill.

that little arc that they had with ice t as danny up and det. williams murking his little bro then him murking williams's fiance was some shyt. that had me like back in the day. ice t was ruthless as fukk and killed his role.

this scene in particular with montell jordan doing his rendition of "what you won't do for love?" while they show both funerals was dope, shyt meshed perfectly for the moment...

gotdammit..this episode came on the same day i came back my ex's funeral...later that day when i was watching that shyt esp during that song made me break down again and start crying..i have sad memories attached to it

I remember enjoying it back in the day but I also remember enjoying Batman and Robin(Clooney) and Power Rangers and both of those were terrible when I went back to revisit them

i think it ages pretty well. i've caught a few episodes on tvone and they were still entertaining. But they wont compare to those shows on hbo which were def more grimy and more realistic. But during ny undercover's run there was not another show on tv that was on that level and shot from a hood perspective

- one of my favorite episodes was when those african kids who were children soldiers came through. Those nikkas were bodying cats with them big ass machetes

I haven't watched that show in over 15 years but when you mentioned that scene with Montell Jordan singing that song, it brought it all back. That shyt was cold as ice breh......
