Yeah, they're starting to go hardcore with it now

Just came back from Walgreens & about to head back out to another store before they close

I feel like a dainty bytch walking around with these reusable bags

Since we're now forced to use these bags, then I'm getting some custom versions

you put in on your shoulder too and walked off with a switch because you were off balance didn't you?

hard to not look moist with a tote bag. :mjlol:

i just fold up the handle and bear grip it wildly to show off my rugged man strength. :mjcry:

Yeah, this new law isn't it. :scust:

Carrying around these big, bulky paper bags for everything you buy is terrible. At least Walgreens will give you the ones with handles cut out. These other stores just expect you to use your hands to clutch the bottom of the bag like it's 1956. :scust:
imagine having to give a fukk about the actual earth. how inconvenient it is.

I apologize that you had to go through that.

not really it's about reducing use where you can... a lot easier to do that with the consumers than in manufacturing

I always preferred plastic bags to paper bags. I guess I'm not as environmentally conscious as you, my friend. :yeshrug:

:jbhmm: Y'know, not really. Cuz now i gotta buy garbage bags for garbage cans in every room of a two story house and, as noted above, disposable shower caps for hair treatments. I can't figure out a workaround.
that's true for people like you who were reusing them a lot of people just trash them.

I think anyone with a choice prefers plastic but that's not the point. we can't just keep living destructively because it suits us. every generation just setting up the last one to hold the bag precariously until our habits fully destroy our environment.

I've been using reusable bags since the law came into fruition. However, a few times I've left em at home and used the store-branded paper bags that comes with handles instead.

I remember being mad when this was first announced but since then eh it doesn't bother me but I do miss plastic bags tho due to its convenience.
