Does that come when the gentrification process is done?

Contrary to all that hype about what's happening to Brooklyn and Harlem, there are still a lot of areas here that are not penetrated by gentrification, mostly in outer Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx.

mos of that shyt is already there, and that looks like a lot less seats. They would make things worst and charge more.

And I know a a few train and bus operators. Theyr'e sort of sick people.

The Bronx can't be gentrified. I heard what they're trying to do in the South Bronx, I wonder how that's going to turn out.

The World, but from BK
The parts of BK with no subway have a lot of middle class blacks tho :yeshrug:

My mom and sis still live in south bk and I moved from that area a few months ago...it's just a way of life not having the train to close. You either drive, take a dollar van or the bus...train stop areas= more crime.

They got a lot to go for the South BX, a lot of the BX is left behind. I moved from Brooklyn to the BX and to see the contrast in living was wild for me.

This. shyt is still grimy even going as south as 138th despite the proposed developments around that area.

And forget about the rest of the borough thanks to the Cross Bronx Expressway. You have all these chain stores built up in Fordham that normally signals early signs of gentrification, yet so far, you still see nikkas popping in broad daylight outside of the students.

Expand on that bruh.

I'm up in Riverdale, it's a whole 'nother world compared to most of the BX. It's like living in long island over here.

Oh yeah, Riverdale is on some other shyt, I worked in a nursing home there. Its almost like living in Westchester. Hard enough to reach the 1 train if your all the way up by the highway unless you love biking everyday.

The Comfort Zone
I wouldn't be so sure about the Bx.

We own near the new Bay Plaza mall and we get practically begged to sell once a week now.

Grand Concourse around Yankee Stadium is gone. Bruckner near the bridge is just about gone. They'll be throwing anyone poor who lives out there out real soon (they have done it already).

Those market rate condos on 138th (I think) that are practically sold out? Starting price was 400gs.

I'm looking to purchase a condo, and with the new metro north that is coming I was told that in a few yrs, A LOT of ppl will be priced out of Parkchester. In fact, some hot shot developer threw DOZENS of businesses out on their ass last year. The Metro North will be coming to Hunts Point too. You think this is by accident? :usure:

I'm seeing more and more white people on the 4 train into the BX after work everyday.

Brooklyn son
I always said, being an MTA cop, Bridges & Tunnels cop or PAPD cop is a GOAT gig as you don't have to deal with the fukkery that regular cops do....

Anybody who calls a black man a c00n for joining one of those three police forces is a bozo.

The MTA Police mainly patrol the Commuter railroads, they have a lot of fukkery Friday & Saturday nights with drunk white people acting a fool on the trains.

Bridges & Tunnels cops I assume only deal with accidents and such. I mean how much crime could possibly happen on a Bridge? :pachaha: the tunnels only allow vehicles.

Just applied for the mta police which is open now and a lot of my former co workers (Tsa) joined PAPD and they are coasting towards 80k a year. Hopefully one of these gigs call me I'm out!
