Also where I live the cities with the highest minimum wages have seen the cost of living swallow the wage. So the idea that simply raising the min as a fix is shaky to me...

:manny:Could just be Cali though. The living wage hasn’t improved shyt here. I’d prefer to let market forces solve the problem at this point.

I don’t believe there is one anymore.
State intervention has completely distorted it.

In my state(CA), counties are setting their own min wage. SF and LA both have min wages above the state min wage.

I thought you were leaving this site? What happened to that?
