This is maybe the worst product rollout I've ever seen for a piece of hardware.
"Based on recent fulfillment updates from Roland US, widespread availability for SP-404MKII is expected in August/September 2022. There are likely to be some smaller stock deliveries in the meantime for existing pre-order customers, but new orders placed today will have an early September ETA. So we're talking about this maybe becoming widely accessible to the general public 1 year after their announcement/ initial rollout

Great choice breh. This generation of MPC's are some of the best hardware ever made IMO.
I've had the original Live for 3 years now and it's the centerpiece of my studio.
MPC's and SP's do pair incredibly well too if you choose to consider a 404 later on down the line. The built in FX for the SP's are the big draw for me.

Edit: Ahh wait nevermind. Guitar Center and a few other sites have had the same shipping estimate. I was surprised to see Zzsounds showing that they have units shipping earlier. That same message is no longer on the product page, so I'm curious as to whether or not I'm going to get an update letting me know its pushed back to late Summer. Ima be pissed
