8 GB is supposed to be phased out and the 16 GB will probably drop to $199.

If they price the Nexus 10 right, i'm picking up a phone and tablet on Monday. My Transformer Prime died for a reason. It sensed this piff was right around the corner and sacraficed itself for the greater good. :salute:

great post there:smoker::clap:

Lol@anybody in here believing that new nexus 10 to be anything but $500+ ...don't get your hopes up. A 10 inch tablet with a next gen processor and the highest resolution on tablets being priced competitively with 7 inch tabs with half the power....dreams....then nightmares lol.

I honestly still don't understand why people even care about a super power android tablet...its still an android tablet. At this point everything running jellybean will run pretty close to each other with project butter...things like a better camera don't matter much on tablets and all android tabs are still running...for the most part...android phone software. Unless the bigger screen is your main reason...I wouldn't dare spend 500+ on a android tablet to be honest...not now...this nexus 10 doesn't really excite me like that. Seems like most the excitement is coming from folks that never owned a tablet.

We'll see I guess.

I'm kind of doubtful on the price too. If they were able to drop a 32 GB version for $400 and 64 GB for $450, that would be great. Since that processor and screen is top of the line, they'll have to...

1. Take a hit on profits by undercutting the competition
2. Sacrifice some of the other specs, such as storage, battery, expandable storage etc. to get the price lower
3. Charge 500+ for that bytch (The most likely outcome)

I've used both a Transformer Prime and an iPad. Just like the iPhone, the iPad is just boring to me. I gotta have the ability to customize or it just doesn't feel right.

I had the iPad 3 but sold it in preparation to cop a windows 8 pro pad. IPad 3 was pretty nice after you jail broke it. Windows 8 tabs using windows software along with having a HDMI, full USB 3 ports, and working with the xbox's and my desktop is what ultimately made me sell it. After owning a tab I realize the only way the price at 500+ is justified is if I can use it for entertainment AND real work that requires the same things a laptop/desktop offers...so windows it is for me.

I wouldn't mind falling into the android tab life if the tablet app world was plush...I just think windows 8 has more potential for some intensive apps/programs on a desktop level. If its not that..what's the point? My gs3 handles everything else pretty well...it would be like owning two of the same thing...just one bigger than the other pretty much.

This. Android tabs are severely lacking IMHO. People will soon realize this though...

What features do yall want in android 4.2?? Since nobody seem to be talking about it

1. its time to upgrade the navigation. Its still stuck in Beta :wtf:

2. integrate google deeper into Android. Gtalk have BBM and Imessage capability. Connect it to sms messenger

3. Google now should have an open dialog pop up like Gtalk. Should have features like sportscenter alerts where it updates you on news and stories. Google now will be better

4. More LED pulse light like light flow

5. improve chrome. Add some of the features from the default android browser. Need speed and stability

6.more options in the camera interface. We need burst mode and better image stabilization.

7. Google music needs a cleaner interface liek Apolo and grab album cover option from the web. Add a podcast Need a lab setting. The action bar is too cluttered. Its an ugly interface.

8. Need a note app and a better alarm clock w/ world features.

9. Gallery needs a search option within the gallery with better editing features like resizing.

10. use the AOSP power menu feature when you long press the power

11. battery percentage

12. improve the PDF reader. Should be more like adobe reader. Give me reasons to download less apps

13. toggles

14. better check in option vioa lattitude

15. Get rid of the more option in settings and create a better and less confusing setting menu option. Mobile networks should a menu setting by itself alongside NFC

16. Native find my car and find my phone option

17. Cloud back up and automatic resture

18. Native 2 step authenticator option

19.the status bar should use the icon colors instead of using a grey icon as default when you get a notification

20. Multi windows

21. native file explorer

22. google wallet should have a native paypass locator

23. improve the news and weather app. make it more like flipboard or use google currents as the default and toss it.

24. Native stock market app

25. ADD trending apps and a new app section to te playstore. Change the colors to be more the playstore Logo. Time to switch the app name to get rid of the play in the front.

26. Calendar should be more integrated and have way more features. Its too difficult to use.

27. Final one update all of the google apps to match the new design guidelines

Keep pushing security further.

Most of my gripes are more for hardware than for anything else. I wish the screen was a bit bigger to make up for the nav bar. Put the led notification light up at the top.. Either that or make the nav bar a bit more low profile without using a Custom rom.

Allow a theme engine ala cyanogenmod, hell a ton of those fukkers need to be hired by Google.

Lockscreen /wallpaper separation. Why did they combine this :birdman:

I like what samsung did with the lockscreen. Louder notification sounds and ringtones. Android always have low ringtones. Continue to focus on project butter and the smoothness. I agree the status bar need a big makeover. I think it should be a lil bigger since the screen is so big already. We need an option to chnage the color of the software buttons. Should be in an advanced settings or developers section. The movie player should be much better.

Some of these issues will be address in android 5.0.

Create a google music player for windows/ios/linux when you add songs to the player it automatically sync. Same way chrome searches sync with google now
