Manufacturer's warranty? Asus will fix/replace your shyt if you bought it within a year
They voided my warranty since I unlocked the boot loader. I tried to explain that this was a hardware issue and not software related. Them indian nikkas on the phone wasn't trying to hear that though.
I don't know if that's an ASUS thing, but that's the last time I Root/Unlock a tablet. My phone is protected by insurance, so I can just say I lost it if I ran into that problem. I'm pretty much fukked with a tablet though.

Once you unlock your boot loader on an ASUS tablet (Not sure if the Nexus 7 counts), your serial number is flagged. Since my display died, I was unable to revert back to stock. Not sure if that would have helped though.

Maybe mines didn't get flagged cause I never registered for the warranty until I needed to
Rooted and came back to stock after the OTA update to ICS
I'm bout to e-mail them my invoice so they can tell me when & where to bring my shyt
^^I hope they drop the price on the 8GB & 16GB.
