Based on what media reporters like John Ourand and Andrew Marchand have been saying and reporting, my guess is that the media partners will be Disney, WBD, Amazon, and NBC. I think NBA wants another OTA partner and NBC has that and the Peacock element. Amazon one of the biggest streamers and the NBA would help Prime Video along with the NFL. Netflix is the dark-horse imo.

Actually a lot of the recent spike in NFL and NBA broadcasting deals is driven by streaming. Fewer people are watching TV shows live, most are just streaming them. Sports haven't really been impacted by streaming so more of the live TV commercials money is flowing into sports.

Yup. DVR was the start of the premium being put on live sports. Since people are more likely to watch live sports there's a much better chance that the commercials themselves will actually be watched instead of skipped over like they are with DVRs.
