I think this is kind of dumb (though I don’t know the details of their financial structure)

CNN + TNT/TBS (with the NBA) + HBO + all of Discovery’s content is actually a compelling combo. Breaking it up makes it less attractive (unless HBO/WB signs a long term content agreement with “Max”)

Damn, they(NBA/Amazon) playin chess not checkers :dead:
So WBD would have to cough up like 6B as soon as they match to cover the first 3 years.

Yea, my guess is WBD threatens a lawsuit and the NBA reaches a monetary settlement to finalize the agreement with Amazon.

I told these nikkas that as lawyers we know how to structure shyt in a way that you don’t match. Dudes were acting like Amazon would sign on without knowing.

WBD is getting something out of it sounds like. Simmons himself said "I don't know what that will be.... " so it's still in the dark.

And I love how these so-called coli lawyers are acting like they've ever been in a room for a multi billion dollar negotiation :mjlol:

I would tell them to right the fukk ahead and file a motion to dismiss.

Surely NBC wont be cool with the bullshyt we've seen in the ASG the last few years. Kind of think they'll tell the league to get serious and switch up the format. Maybe we'll see US vs the World
