Young black thug robs small innocent store store owner, store owner calls the cop, police kill thief.
Releasing this video changes it to :
Drug transaction between a adult corrupt store owner and a minor. Minor is attempting to leave store, drug trafficking owner attempts to stop him, teenager defends himself. Confused store patrons call police, cops kill young man who is worried about his safety do to possible collusion between crooked cops protecting crooked store owner

They painted him as a druggie thug, addict, who beat up these innocent store owners and stole from them. This video crushes that narrative completely because it shows he had a drug deal with these "innocent store owners".
He was probably owed the cigars he took that lead to the fight and then the police shooting. this is clearly a misunderstanding that is relevant. But the propaganda of him being a big black male thug thief abusing 'innocent and hardworking' store owners was used to demonize him and try to justify him being shot unarmed. the store video of the so called robbery (which now looks like just the usual drug deal between him and the store owners) was not really important to his shooting also, but cacs and police claimed it was relevant to paint the accurate picture of Mike Brown as a person. It was the usual cac hit job on black males. Why wasn't this released, why were these store owners questioned by media or grilled in the court of opinion for their role in mike browns death and the drug deals. the only time the media or police ever talked to them was to paint the picture of mike brown as a super thug and these stores owners as innocent lambs being preyed on.
