Because it would have showed the stores owners as the druggie POS that they were. Instead of painting the narrative that they were all innocent saints that a giant thug man handled and robbed for no reason.
The whole video puts everything that happened in the store and the 911 call leading up to mike brown's shooting into context. Disgusting and outrageous.
How dare them release that video of the store incident to demonize mike brown, a video that people at the time couldn't understand why it was released when it didn't do anything to explain the unarmed shooting besides paint him as thug.
This was a usual cac hit job on black people, the same was done to Trayvon when they released his school discipline info and hypothesized that him buying candy and ice tea was some sort of effort to make narcotics( right or wrong) it was done to demonize them.
A fair non cac piece of Shyte system would have given us the full picture or just the relevant ones
