i respect him for growing as an artist and i wish he hadnt died

i still dont like his music tho

ill give it a spin... kinda running out of shyt to listen to lately

I would suggest starting with “Faces” or “Macadellic” if you haven’t really played his albums like that. Those are standard fleshed out projects. This sounded more like something abstract he needed to get off his chest privately.

According the Josh Burg that joint was recorded for an entirely separate sister project at the time. He said it was based around a band concept and he hopes that it comes out.

He dropped a long ass post on reddit about this album recently.

I try to get into Mac but outside of KIDS, Best Day Ever, and Macadelic he was hit or miss. I've been told that you gotta listen to his stuff like you're on the verge of committing that and crying on the floor with an empty bottle. I ain't got there yet.

Just read the post, Pretty interesting about He Finally Sleeps & Bobs Dementia both not originally being a part of Balloonerism.

There was another left over joint from the album called Operation Love, but no mention of it in that post.
