I love this movie from the facial expressions Midget made throughout the movie, the soundtrack and the cop who resembled Jerry Seinfeld on HGH/roids.

I cried so hard the first time I saw this...

One of the greatest east coast hood movies,
I still cannot chose if New Jersey Drive better than Clockers,
And vice versa.

New Jersey Drive was what Clockers SHOULDA been. I felt they truly captured New Jersey (even if it wasn't filmed there) during that era. Clockers was half assed. The moved the story from New Jersey to Brooklyn and cut out the soul of the story. The book is probably my favorite book of all times but I hated the movie. Spike really dropped the ball IMO.

Definitely wasn't a big fan, but I didn't see this until many years later. Good songs on the soundtrack like that Queen Latifah song though.

Lowkey, Queen Latifah put out some pretty good music for a female.
