If you get your groceries delivered, they give you reusable bags for free. People in NJ been stealing carts for years that's why they put the magnet locks on them.

I haven't seen a basket cart in NY in forever, also coincided with the bag ban.

Its just people being thieves. Most stores are practically giving away those large totes bags. Others allow you to shop w/o a bag. Its not that serious.

new york banned plastic bags and just switched to paper. but jersey banned paper bags TOO. stores now have no bags at all and often don't even sell reuseables

so if you just see a store and decide to grab some things real quick, and realize once you pay that there's nothing to put it in

I don't blame nobody for saying imma find something to put it in
